2ble Scramble (Cryptic)

You may be familiar with Word Scramble puzzle. Here is just an online version.
First you have to order the 4 scrambled words which are names of water sports.  You can just click and swap the letters right here online.   Click any 2 letters in a row and see them swapped!  Once you find and order all these words, click "Refresh Final Answer Boxes".  Now you get some letters for one more scrambled word. You have to arrange it to get a proper answer for the given (cryptic) clue. Finally press "Completed" button. Now all your answers will appear in the adjacent box. You can copy/paste in comments or mail your answers to inamutham@gmail.com
If you so prefer, you may work manually with paper and pen and send your response by email.

    Dear Friends,

    This puzzle with a cryptic clue has not received much response. Perhaps it is wrong timing - all of you are busy with work or other seasonal activities! Anyhow, I thought I will give this comment/clue in case some of you tried and got stuck:

    1. Go here to see a list of water sports to be sure ou got the first set of words unscrambled correctly.

    2. The answer is contained in the clue itself - it is an anagram of one of the words, giving the meaning of another word in the given clue: "with diverse amendments"

    3. If the cryptic clue is confusing, use this alternate clue: "modified or amended"
